Endoscopic Disposable Ligation Device
The Ligation device or called endoloop is a single-use, preassembled endoscopic device designed for secure and efficient ligation of tissues during minimally invasive procedures. It features a nylon loop that is easily deployed through the endoscope's working channel, allowing for precise placement around target tissues such as polyp stalks. Once positioned, the loop is tightened to achieve hemostasis, effectively minimizing the risk of bleeding during and after procedures like polypectomy. The device's design ensures minimal tissue trauma and simplifies the ligation process, making it a valuable tool in endoscopic intervention polypectomy. Technical Specifications
The endoscopic disposable ligation device is used in combination with the endoscope to release the ligation loops for controlling or preventing sudden bleeding after excising pedunculated polyps.
One effective solution for reducing PPB hazards is the Endoloop, a detachable nylon snare. When wrapped around the stalk of the polyp, it functions as a tourniquet, efficiently compressing blood vessels to lessen bleeding both during and after removal. When dealing with huge pedunculated polyps, where conventional treatments might not be effective, this procedure is especially helpful.
Precautions
1. The minimum working channel required for the ligation device is an endoscope with a diameter of 2.8 mm.
2. After the polyp falls off naturally in 15 days, the ligation ring falls into the digestive tract and is excreted from the body along with the feces.
3. After use, the product and packaging must be handled in accordance with hospital rules and regulations/relevant laws and regulations, otherwise it may cause environmental pollution or human harm.
Indication for Use
The endollop is used in combination with the endoscope to release the ligation loops for controlling or preventing sudden bleeding after excising pedunculated polyps.
Potential complications
1. Complications related to digestive endoscopy and endoscopic resection (ERCP), including (but not limited to): sepsis, perforation, bleeding, aspiration, fever, infection, hypotension, allergic reaction, respiratory depression or arrest, arrhythmia or cardiac arrest.
2. Other complications related to ligation devices, including (but not limited to): local inflammation, compressive necrosis.
Contraindications for disposable endoloop
1. Patients with poor physical condition, serious heart and lung diseases, and unable to withstand endoscopic examination and treatment;
2. Patients whose polyp morphology has been confirmed to be malignant by case examination;
3. Patients with uncorrected coagulation disorders;
4. Patients who have recently taken anticoagulant drugs such as aspirin;
5. Patients with liver cirrhosis;
6. Women during menstruation.
